The main challenge for Tianyun Affordable Office's landscape design was to create a performative landscape that was as iconic as functional. The architectural layout offered a central courtyard that allowed to organize an outdoor program around a massive skylight, this being the focal point of the whole design.

The central skylight works as an iconic landmark and as a natural light source for the employees' canteen located in the complex basement. It is also the organizational element that administrates pedestrian flows and greenery. Its curvy shape dialogues with the facade of the buildings, enhancing the organic and fluid character of the design.

A selection of endemic greenery allows reducing maintenance while providing pleasant scenery changes throughout the year.
