Located in the wetland area of Sheyang Island, Jiangsu Province, this Tourist Center welcomes visitors under a large canopy that stretches from South to North.

The canopy accommodates at its ends two programmed blocks with different cultural activities. This layout creates a screen between the welcoming plaza and an artificial lake situated in the West that helps to reveal the scenery little by little to visitors.

A series of green steps on both sides of the building unfold the landscape, inviting visitors to approach the waterside and sit down to enjoy the views under the canopy. A looped platform goes into the lake allowing astonishing views of the surrounding environment.
