Shaped out following the existing hills and the cause of the river, the museum flows through the site effortlessly as a fluid floating along and above the ground.
The museum program is organized on two levels: the Ground Hills and the Air Galleries. The Ground Hills level host the main entrance and lobby, a 500 people auditorium, events space, the Hills Exhibition Galleries (one open to all the public, one belongs to the museum exhibition), gift shop, administration area, and services and storage facilities. At the upper level, the Air Galleries contain the Permanent Exhibition (indoors and outdoors), Temporal Exhibition Galleries, the Education and Laisure Room, and a floating restaurant with views to the South of the river.
